Thank you for working with Merchants & Marine Bank to secure funds through the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program (“PPP”). The PPP allows a portion, or all, of your loan and accrued interest to be forgiven if the proceeds were used for eligible payroll and non-payroll costs. The program ends on May 31, 2021, so we encourage all eligible entities to contact your lender to apply.
We recommend that you print and review the relevant applications and instructions at the links below prior to starting the forgiveness application process:
Form 3508S Application and Instructions
Form 3508EZ Application and Instructions
Form 3508 Application and Instructions
Your accountant, tax advisor or attorney can assist with completing the forgiveness application. Your payroll provider may be able to assist with the required payroll and employee information.
Additional resource information may be found at the SBA’s PPP webpage.
To expedite the processing of your loan forgiveness application, submit your Application by using the online process outlined below. Email or paper Applications will be accepted, but this may delay the processing of your forgiveness Application.
ONLINE PPP LOAN FORGIVENESS APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
You will need to have all the information required, including supporting documents, to begin the forgiveness application. Submit your completed Application and supporting documentation (PDFs recommended) here.
All forgiveness application form types may be submitted through this link. Please note that if you have a loan for $150,000 or less you may use Form 3508S which does not require you to submit any supporting documentation as part of your forgiveness application. Documents and records are still required to be maintained by all applicants.
Upon submission you will receive an email confirmation that your forgiveness application has been received. You may receive emails from PPPLoanTeam@ProBank.com, our forgiveness application processing partner, requesting additional documentation or details about your Application.* Please submit any requested additional documentation as soon as possible. The CARES Act allows Merchants & Marine Bank 60 days to approve an Application once a completed Application has been submitted.
The amount of loan forgiveness is not final until approved by both Merchants & Marine Bank and the SBA.
*To ensure emails do not end up in your Spam or Junk folder, you may want to add the probank.com and the above email address to your “Approved Senders List.”
